It was wonderful to meet all of the gardeners at Welbourn Gardening Club last week.

It was even more wonderful to receive this feedback from the club.

It’s my opinion, after last Thursday evening, that all Gardening Club programmes should have at least one meeting annually, heavily spiced up by a talk from Doug Stewart!

I can’t recall a meeting where people repeatedly laughed quite so much. Someone later remarked they were so entertained that they wondered when your talk was going to begin, until they realised it actually had and that a number of points had already registered with them!

Anyway, many thanks on behalf of all those present for a highly informative talk delivered in a thoroughly unique style.

It made for a very entertaining evening which those members who were absent will be sorry to have missed.

We’ll be looking forward to the next time!
