and no, before you ask, I have not discovered fake tan!
I have been put with my camera today looking for stunning flowers for a talk that I am working on for Ladies Luncheon Clubs. I was looking for plants that passed the WOW! test, and so headed out to Harlow Carr Gardens at Harrogate.
Geum Totally Tangerine was one of the many stunning plants that leapt out at me, with its incredible bright orange flowers.
What do you think?
This is a wonderful Geum, called “Totally Tangerine”, it was introduced by Hardy’s, one of the UKs leading perennials nurseries, who regularly exhibit at Chelsea Flower Show (The Greatest Shows on Earth – One of my other talks that is popular with Ladies Luncheon Clubs.
It is a wonderful herbaceous perennial, which will do well in almost any position in a garden here in the Scottish Borders. It prefers growing in a relatively dry, open, sunny spot as well as in shadier sites in damp, but not waterlogged soils.
