I have just set myself an interesting challenge on The Plant Enthusiast website.

The challenge is everything down to just 100.

I am trying to define my top 100 Perennials, Tropical Plants, Trees and Shrubs.

It is easy at the start, but as the places fill up, I think there may be some difficult choices ahead.

Anyway I have started with a favourite perennial, Knautia macedonica
